Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are encouraged for larger collections or estate evaluations to ensure you receive our undivided attention. However, walk-ins are always welcome during normal business hours. For high-value transactions, we offer private appointments in our secure and discreet showroom.

Do you deal in error coins?

Unfortunately we do NOT deal in Error Coins unless they are certified. The majority of errors are not worth a ton of money or they are post mint damage. In order to make best use of our time we concentrate on the intrinsic value of coins, bars, collectibles, and numismatics.

Do you charge for evaluations or appraisals?

We offer free evaluations for all coins, bullion, and currency. Our goal is to provide honest, accurate market-based assessments. Formal written appraisals for legal or insurance purposes may involve a fee, but this will always be discussed upfront with full transparency.

Whether you simply could use some extra money and are looking to sell your coin collection, or if you’d just prefer to ascertain what your coins are worth, our seasoned experts can help guide you through the process of selling your collection. We know what your coins are worth and can assess the value of your gold, silver, rare coins, paper currency, and bars — and we offer this services with in-home visits throughout the valley including Scottsdale, Phoenix, Cave Creek, and Glendale. For larger collections we’ve even been known to venture out into the surrounding Phoenix Metro Valley and even Prescott!

Unless you’re a life-long coin junkie, it can be tricky to understand or appreciate the value of your coins and even knowing which ones might be rare. Whether you have silver, gold, platinum, or copper/type coins in your collection, or paper notes – we can help review it all. We will appraise and make an offer based on the value of their actual worth.

What are my coins worth?

Don’t risk making the wrong decisions about your coin collection. Instead, have one of our experts evaluate your coins – completely free of charge. When their finished, they’ll present you with their findings about which coins you should keep, sell, or trade.

We offer free evaluations, with transparent pricing and straightforward answers. We offer honest prices for your coins based on the latest market value. If you’re ready to get started simply drop us a phone call today. We look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can work together!

Whether you have graded/slabbed NGC/PCGS/CACG/ANACS coins or ones in their more original and raw/native condition, we will help walk you through their potential value and give you an offer for your collection.

How do I know I’m getting a fair offer?

Our offers are based on real-time market pricing, coin condition, and collector demand. We take the time to explain how values are determined and will even show you price guides and comparable auction results when appropriate. Our reputation is built on trust, expertise, and long-term relationships, not quick transactions.

Selling your gold and silver coins yields top dollar from the experts at LMC. Our extremely knowledgeable team offers free, no-obligation appraisals of your entire coin collection or single pieces of platinum, gold, silver, or paper currency. We also regularly buy vintage poured gold and silver.

We purchase numismatic collections as well as bullion (non numismatic items) such as bars and ingots. We consistently pay top prices for gold and silver coins and bars in Scottsdale, Phoenix, and the surrounding area.

What is the best way to clean a collectible coin?

The best answer is to NEVER attempt to clean a collectible coin.  While some think that a cleaned, shiny coin increases the value, the complete opposite is the case as cleaning a coin can reduce its value by half or more.  If the surface appears to be tarnished do not try to alter it since the discoloration is likely the result of a natural aging process.

I inherited a coin collection and don’t know where to start. Can you help?

Yes. This is one of the most common reasons people visit us. We take the time to walk you through what you have, explain its value, and discuss your options — whether you’re interested in selling, keeping, or insuring the collection. Our goal is to educate and guide, not pressure you into a sale.

We specialize in the evaluation and purchase of small, medium, and large gold and silver coin collections, and even rare coins. If you have a collection or an estate you’d like to sell, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll work with you to give you a seamless experience.

What We Do:

We help our customers sell their items easily and for higher payouts.

It’s safe, free and easy.

We will review any collection free of charge in our shop!

Do not sell your coins at a garage sale! Chances are, you will not have the right buyers.

No transaction is too small or too large. We cater to all types of buyers and sellers, handling deals ranging from as little as $10 to as much as $10 million. Whether you’re a first-time buyer looking to purchase a small gold coin or an experienced investor seeking a substantial bullion purchase, we are equipped to meet your needs with the utmost professionalism.

Key Notes

  • We buy gold and silver, US coins and some international.
  • We regularly deal with NGC, PCGS and other graded/slabbed coins.
  • We appraise St. Gaudens, Liberty, pre-1933, and other modern bullion.
  • We purchase Morgan Dollars, Silver Eagles, Peace Dollars, and other pre-1964 constitutional silver varieties.

It can take a seasoned eye and a considerable amount of effort to evaluate a coin collection’s potential value and we do our best to offer you a price that you can be happy with. Unfortunately, at times our loved ones may pass some inheritances along but may not have prepared us for the unexpected eventuality or need for selling a coin collection. Our goal is to help in that process and to provide you with a white glove level of service.

Got Bars? We LOVE Vintage Silver or Gold Poured Bars!

Did you know that vintage bars can be worth a lot more than their intrinsic melt value? Anything from the 1980’s and older is generally considered “vintage”. Vintage gold and silver bars have been a dramatic resurgence in interest and can be HIGHLY collectible. We especially enjoy coming across these because they are so often melted and there’s a massive base of people that enjoy putting these into collections much like coin collecting. We call these the numismatics of bullion. If you have vintage gold and silver bars, don’t hesitate to reach out to find out what they are worth – we’re always happy to make you a fair offer.
